On January 1, 1986, Bob Redd and Frank Grant were approached by developers of Oak Run who asked them to assume a plumbing contract which was left unfinished by another firm. Six workers were challenged to come on board “Southern Plumbing” to meet the opportunity.

Southern Plumbing’s goal is to provide a local service for larger-scale commercial projects in the area while providing local employment. Southern Plumbing of Ocala, Inc. was built from the ground up on a foundation of integrity and strong work ethic.
